WhatsApp has released a new beta version of its client on Android. The company is pushing the beta updates at very fast pace. Every day, WhatsApp beta testers gets new update.
The latest version of WhatsApp messenger on Android is 2.16.20. The company didn’t revealed the change log for the update but it might come with several bug fixes.
If you have signed up for a WhatsApp beta testing program then you can update the app from the Play Store. If want to download the APK of WhatsApp 2.16.20 version then you can download it from the official website.
The size of WhatsApp verison 2.16.20 APK is 27MB. If you update it via Play Store, then only patch will be downloaded. There are no new features in the recent update.
Earlier WhatsApp Messenger introduced new end to end encryption security options. Now all chats, voice calls and media are encrypted with 256 bit encryption. No one can access the data, only sender and recipient can see the data.
WhatsApp can be downloaded for free from Play Store or its APK can be downloaded from company website. It can be insalled on Android devices running on Android 2.1 or above. It is also available from Apple App Store, Windows Store, Nokia Store and Blackberry Store.
