Xiaomi to announce MIUI 8 in India on 30 June

Last month Xiaomi launched its phablet Mi Max in China. Along with the smartphone, the company also announced its new MIUI 8 OS. The upcoming version of MIUI will be released for select devices in coming month.

Xiaomi is now conducting its product launch event in India on 30 June. The company has announced that it will launch Xiaomi Mi Max in India. Along with the device, the company will also announce MIUI 8 for India.

The Chinese company might announce the beta program for MIUI 8 in India next week. Xiaomi will release the MIUI 8 for select devices in India in coming months. No time frame has been given by the company.

MIUI 8 comes with several new features like Multi window support, New UI for many stock apps. The OS is now more colorful. It comes with new gallery app. The company has enhanced the UI.

Xiaomi font has been added with MIUI 8. It features power saving feature which can help in giving more battery usage time. It also comes with added security features.

Xiaomi will launch MIUI 8 and Mi Max in India on 30 June.
