Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi Mi5 and Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro last month. The flagship smartphone went on sale in China this month. Now the Chinese company has confirmed its launch time in India.
Xiaomi Mi5 will be launched in India next month. Its exact launch date is unknown but it will be launched in first half of next month. The company might launch both standard and pro variant of Mi 5 in India.
Xiaomi Mi 5 features a 5.15 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS Display with a pixel density of 428ppi. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor with 3GB/4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 530 GPU.
Xiaomi Mi5 comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with Dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. For selfies, it comes with a 4 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB/64GB/128GB inbuilt storage, which cannot be expanded.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct WLAN, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh Battery with Fast Charging. It comes with Fingerprint sensor under its home button.
Xiaomi Mi 5 runs on Android 6 Lollipop with MIUI 7. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
