Xiaomi has announced its flagship smartphone, Xiaomi Mi 8 in China. The company has launched multiple other devices during the launch event in China. The new Mi8 comes with IR Face Unlock technology, it has also has Fingerprint sensor on its back side. The device is powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC with 6GB RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 8 sports a 6.21 inch Full HD+ (2248 x 1080 pixels) 18:7:9 AMOLED 2.5D Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.8GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor with 6GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno 630 GPU.
Xiaomi Mi8 comes with dual camera setup. It comes with 12 Megapixel Sony IMX363 sensor primary and 12 Megapixel Samsung S5K3M3 sensor secondary rear camera with Dual LED flash, 4-axis OIS, Optical zoom and 4K video recording. For selfies, It comes with a 20 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 64GB/128GB/256GB in-built storage options, which cannot be expanded.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,400 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4. It comes with IR Face Unlock and Fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Xiaomi Mi 8 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with a layer of MIUI 10. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.

Xiaomi Mi 8 price is 2699 Yuan. It comes in Black, Blue, Gold and White colors. The device will go on sale in China from 5 June.
