As expected, Xiaomi has launched a new smartphone in India called Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The smartphone is launched with a price tag of Rs. 16,999. It will go on sale in the country from 20 July. It will be available from Mi online store and Mi Home in Bengaluru.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a 6.44 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS 2.5D Curved Glass Display with a pixel density of 403ppi. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor with 4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 506 GPU.
Mi Max 2 comes with a 12 Megapixel Sony IMX386 Sensor rear camera with Dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded.
Its connectivity options include 4G, Vo LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and USB Type-C. It packs a 5,300 mAh Battery with Fast Charging. The battery offers 57 hours of talktime on one complete charge. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 8. It has hybrid slot which can act as dual sim slot or expandable slot.
