Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched a new budget smartphone in India called Xiaomi Redmi 5A. The device has been launched with a starting price of Rs. 4,999. It comes with HD screen and is powered by SD 425 SoC.
The company has launched the device in two options, one with 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and other with 3GB RAM/32GB storage. Xiaomi Redmi 5A Price in India starts at Rs. 4,999 for 2GB RAM, the price will be increased to Rs. 5,999 after Five Million units.
Xiaomi Redmi 5A features a 5 inch HD ( 720×1280 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.4GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Processor with 2GB/3GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 308 GPU.
Redmi 5A comes with a 13 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 16GB/32GB on-board storage options which can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, Infrared sensor and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000mAh battery.
Xiaomi Redmi 5A runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based on MIUI 9. It is dual sim device with dual standby support, it has dedicated dual sim slot.
