Xiaomi has launched a new budget smartphone under its Redmi brand. The company has launched Redmi 8A Dual in India. It is powered by Snapdragon 439 SoC and comes with upto 3GB of RAM. Its price in India starts at Rs. 6,499.
Redmi 8A Dual features a 6.22 inch HD+ (720 × 1520 pixels) 19:9 2.5D curved glass Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 1.95GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 Processor with 2GB/3GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 505 GPU.
Redmi 8A Dual comes with a 13 Megapixel primary and 2 Megapixel secondary rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, Infrared sensor and Micro-USB. It packs a 5,000mAh battery. It has fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual runs on Android 9 Pie based on MIUI. It is dual sim device with dual standby support, it has dedicated dual sim slot.

Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual Price in India is Rs. 6,499 for base 2GB RAM model and Rs. 6,999 for 3GB RAM. It comes in Midnight Grey, Sea Blue and Sky White colors. It will go on sale in the country from 18 February.
