As expected, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched a new smartphone in India. The company has launched Xiaomi Redmi 9 Prime in India. It is launched with a starting price of Rs. 9,999. It will be available from 6 August during Amazon Prime Day Sale.
Xiaomi Redmi 9 Prime features a 6.53 inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) 20:9 Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa Core Helio G80 Processor with 4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU.
RedMi 9 Prime comes with Quad camera setup, it features a 13 Megapixel primary, 8 Megapixel ultra-wide, 2 Megapixel Depth sensor and 5 Megapixel Macro lens rear camera with Dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. For selfies it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB/128GB inbuilt storage options, which can be expanded upto 256GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and USB Type-C. It packs a 5,020 mAh Battery with Fast Charging. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on side.
Redmi 9 Prime runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11. It has hybrid slot which can act as dual sim slot or expandable slot.
