Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched a new budget smartphone under its Redmi series in Malaysia. The company has launched Xiaomi Redmi 9A in Malaysia. The device is powered by Helio G25 SoC and has 2GB of RAM.

Redmi 9ARedmi 9A features a 6.53 inch HD+ (720 × 1600 pixels) 20:9 Display. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa core MediaTek Helio G25 Processor with 2GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

Redmi 9A comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 512GB using MicroSD Card.

Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, Infrared sensor and Micro-USB. It packs a 5,000mAh battery.

Xiaomi Redmi 9A runs on Android 10 based on MIUI 11. It is dual sim device with dual standby support, it has dedicated dual sim slot.

Xiaomi Redmi 9A Price in Malaysia is RM359. It comes in Granite Gray, Sky Blue and Peacock Green colors. It will go on sale in the country from 7 July.
