After sending the invites, Xiaomi has finally launched RedMi Note in India for Rs. 8,999. It will go on sale on Flipkart from 2nd December for which pre-registrations starts tomorrow.
Xiaomi had earlier announced RedMi Note at Rs. 9,999, but now Xiaomi has reduced its price by Rs. 1,000 and launched it at Rs. 8,999.
Xiaomi RedMi Note features a 5.5 inch HD(1280×720 pixels) IPS Display at 267ppi. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek MTK6592 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has Mali 450 MP4 GPU.
Xiaomi RedMi Note comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also has a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with a 8 GB on board storage which can be further expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Xiaomi RedMi Note connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,100 mAh Battery. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
Xiaomi RedMi Note runs on Android 4.2 optimized with MIUI version 5.

Xiaomi RedMi Note is priced in India at Rs. 8,999. It will be sold exclusively on Flipkart. It will be up for pre order from 25 November and will go on sale from 2nd December.
