Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi conducted the first flash sale of its newly launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India today. The devices were made available on online retailer Flipkart and company’s own onliune store. The first flash sale kicked off at 12PM and the devices were sold out in seconds on both platforms.
The devices were launched last week. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 was launched with a starting price of Rs. 9,999 while the higher end Redmi Note 5 Pro is launched with a starting price of Rs. 13,999. These two smartphones will again go on sale on 28 February.

RedMi Note 5 comes with a 12 Megapixel rear camera with Dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera with LED flash. It comes in 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage options, which can be expanded upto 128GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Price in India is Rs. 9,999 for base 3GB RAM variant and Rs. 11,999 for 4GB + 64GB model. It comes in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Blue colour options.
