Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is gearing upto launch a successor in its popular Redmi Note series called Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 in India. The device will be launched in India tomorrow. Ahead of its grand unveiling, the specs and its look have been leaked. The new phone will come with 18:9 display and will come in two variants.
Xiaomi RedMi Note 5 features a 5.99 inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved Display. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor with 3GB/4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 506 GPU.
RedMi Note 5 comes with a 12 Megapixel rear camera with Dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera with LED flash. It comes in 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage options, which can be expanded upto 128GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and Micro-USB. It packs a 4,000 mAh Battery with Fast Charging. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Xiaomi RedMi Note 5 runs on Android 7 Nougat with MIUI 9. It has hybrid slot which can act as dual sim slot or expandable slot.
