Xiaomi is all set to launch a new budget smartphone in India soon. The company has started sending out launch event invites to Media. It is expected that Mi will launch the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi S2 in India as Redmi Y2. The device comes with 18:9 Full Screen display. It packs a dual camera setup on the back side and has 16MP selfie camera.
Xiaomi Redmi S2/Redmi Y2 features a 5.99 inch HD+ ( 1440 × 720 pixels) 18:9 2.5D curved glass Display. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor with 3GB/4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 506 GPU.
Redmi S2 comes with a 12 Megapixel primary and 5 Megapixel secondary rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 16 Megapixel front camera with LED flash. It comes in 32GB/64GB on-board storage options which can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.
