Yu Televentures has launched Yu Yuphoria in India. It is the second smartphone from the company. Yuphoria is launched in India for Rs. 6,999. It will be exclusively sold on Amazon via flash sale.
The first flash sale of Yu Yuphoria will take place on 28 May. Registrations for the first flash sale has been already stared on Amaozon.
Yu Yuphoria sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU.
It comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera. It comes with 16GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,230 mAh Battery which offers 7 hours of talktime and 160 hours of standby time on 3G network.
Yu Yuphoria runs on Cyanogen OS 12 which is based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
