Yu Yuphoria gets Cyanogen OS 12.1 update in India

Yu has posted the CyanogenMod 12.1 update for Yu Yuphoria in India. The update will be rolled out in phases and will take time to reach all devices. Cyanogen OS 12.1 bring many new features to the device.

The update bumps the Android version to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The update comes with build number YOG4PAS47N. The update is released via Over-The-Air(OTA) update.

Yu Yuphoria sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU.

It comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera. It comes with 16GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.

Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,230 mAh Battery which offers 7 hours of talktime and 160 hours of standby time on 3G network.

Yu Yuphoria runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
