Samsung has launched a new mid rage device in India in Prime series dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Core Prime SM-G360. Samsung has not launched the device officially, but it is available on several online stores in India. Galaxy Core Prime SM-G360 is now available in India for Rs. 9,380 ($152).
Samsung Galaxy Core Prime comes with plastic body. At this price point, Samsung is offering LTE device in India, it is one the cheapest smartphone in India priced under Rs. 10,000 with LTE connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy Core Prime sports a 4.5 inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) Display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad core 64 bit Snapdragon 410 Processor with 1 GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Core Prime comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded upto 64 GB using MicroSD Card.
Samsung Galaxy Core Prime connectivity options include LTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,000 mAh battery which can provide 17 hours of talktime.
Samsung Galaxy Core Prime runs on latest Android 4.4.4 Kitkat. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support.
