Micromax has launched a new mid range device in the canvas series dubbed as Micromax Canvas Xpress. The phone is launched in India at Rs. 6,999. Canvas Xpress will be exclusively sold on Flipkart from 8 December.
Micromax Canvas Xpress A99 comes with HotKnot and smart wake features. HotKnot allows to transmit data between two devices by touching the screens of the devices.

Micromax Canvas Xpress A99 features a 4.5 inch FWVGA(854×480 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core MTK6582V/X Processor with 1GB of RAM.
Micromax Canvas express A99 comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Micromax Canvas Xpress A99 connectivity options includes 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, HotKnot, WLAN, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It has 1,950 mAh battery which gives 7 hrs of talktime and 240 hrs of standby time. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
Micromax Canvas Xpress runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat out of the Box. Canvas Express comes pre-installed with many apps like BMS, Clean master, Games club, Hike, Mi games, Mi Insurance, Mi Live, Mi Pick, Mi security, MAD, Opera Mini, Reverie phonebook & smartpad, true caller, Yatra, and Games.
