Airtel, the largest telecom operator has announced new yearly and half-yearly subscription of 3G/4G data. After the subscription, you will get 1GB 3G/4G data at Rs. 51. There will no limit on no of recharges. The offer is valid for pre-paid customers only, no word about post-paid customers..
The moves comes after Airtel slashed data pack rates and giving additional data to Samsung Galaxy J series of smartphones. This is the effect of Reliance Jio, which will start is commercial operation in India soon.
Under the new Airtel Mega Saver pack, pre-paid customers can enjoy 1GB data at just Rs. 51. The customer first need to do a recharge of Rs. 1498. After recharging with Rs. 1498, you will get 1GB 3G/4G data upfront. The validity of 1GB Data will be 28 Days.
Post the consumption of 1GB data, you can get 1GB 3G/4G Internet data at Rs. 51. You can also choose 2GB/5GB data recharge as well. You can get 1GB 3G/4G data at Rs. 51 for one year. Recharge amount may vary as per circle.
Another Airtel Mega Saver pack is of six months validity. With these pack, you need to make a recharge of Rs. 748 and will get 1GB 3G/4G data upfront. Post the exhaustion of initial data, you can get 1GB data at Rs. 99.

With these innovative packs, we are redefining the value proposition on our data packs and allowing our customers get a lot more within the same budget.”
