Lenovo owned Motorola is all set to launch new smartphone in India called Motorola Moto G4 Play. The smartphone will be launched in India next month. The company has teased the launch on its Twitter handle.
Motorola will launch the new smartphone, Moto G4 Play in India on 6th September. It will go on sale from 6 September only. It will be exclusively sold on Amazon India.
The smartphone was announced as Moto G Play in other countries, but in India the company will be launching it as Motorola Moto G4 Play. As you can see in the teaser image above, the name of the device is clearly mentioned.
Motorola Moto G4 Play sports a 5 inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU.
Moto G4 Play comes with a 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel wide-angle front camera. It comes in 16GB in-built storage, which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,800 mAh Battery with Turbo Charging.
Motorola Moto G4 Play runs on Android 6 Marshmallow. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
