Couple of months back we have exclusively reported that Amazon Prime is coming to India soon. Now Amazon Prime is officially made available to Indian users by the marketplace.
The US based marketplace is offering 60 days of free trial of Amazon Prime. Once the trial period is over, you will be charged at Rs. 449/year. This is a introductory price which will be increased to Rs. 999.
With Amazon Prime subscription, you will get free One day and Two day delivery with no minimum order price. You can save Rs. 100 for every fast delivery order. You get unlimited one day and two day delivery.
For same day delivery and morning delivery, Amazon Prime members will have pay discounted price of Rs. 50. Same day delivery is available in select metro cities only, it will be expanded to other countries soon.
Another perk of Amazon Prime subscription will be 30 minute early access to lightning deals. There will be also member only deals. Items eligible for Prime will be marked with Prime logo.
Amazon is also bringing Prime Video service in India soon. The prime video service will be available in India by end of this year.
So you can get the free trial of Amazon Prime for 60 days. Later you can continue by paying Rs. 499/year.
