As scheduled, Gionee has launched its new smartphone Gionee M6 in China. The smartphone comes with a dedicated encryption security chip. It is powered by a Helio P10 SoC. It is launched in China for 2699 Yuan.
Gionee M6 packs a 5,000mAh battery. The security encrypted chip carries RAM, ROM and Eflash(a self-operating system) to ensure the encryption and authentication of related keys and parameters run inside the chip.
Gionee M6 features a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels)2.5D curved glass Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.8 GHz Octa core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755m Processor with 4GB of RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Mali T-860 GPU.
Gionee M6 comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED Flash and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF). For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera with single flashlight. It comes in 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage options, which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, WLAN, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. It has fingerprint scanner under home button.
Gionee M6 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a layer of Amigo 3.5 UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
