Asus is all set to launch its smartphone with 8GB RAM, Asus Zenfone AR in India soon. The mobile phone with 8GB RAM was announced earlier this year during CES. Now the device will be launched in India soon.
The company has officially started teasing the launch of the smartphone in India. It claims that Asus Zenfone AR was the world’s first smartphone with 8GB RAM. It also comes with Project Tango and Google Daydream support.
Asus Zenfone AR sports a 5.7 inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.3GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 530 GPU.
Asus Zenfone AR comes with 23 Megapixel Sony IMX318 sensor rear camera with dual tone LED flash and OIS 2.0. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel wide angle Front camera. It comes in 32GB/64/125GB/256GB GB in-built storage options, which can be further expanded upto 128GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,300 mAh battery which comes with Quick Charge. It comes with a fingerprint sensor under its home button.
Asus Zenfone AR runs on Android 7 Nougat. It comes with Tango and Google Daydream support.
