Asus Zenfone AR launched in India, goes on sale on Flipkart for Rs. 49,999

As expected, Asus has launched its new smartphone with Daydream support in India dubbed as Asus Zenfone AR. The smartphone is launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 49,999. It comes with 8GB RAM.

Asus Zenfone ARThe smartphone has gone on sale on online retailer Flipkart. Asus Zenfone AR is Tango-enabled and Daydream-ready. Tango is a set of sensors and computer-vision software by Google that enables smartphone augmented reality. Daydream is Google’s platform for high-quality, mobile virtual reality and supports Daydream VR apps.

Asus Zenfone AR sports a 5.7 inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.3GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 530 GPU.

Asus Zenfone AR comes with 23 Megapixel Sony IMX318 sensor rear camera with dual tone LED flash and OIS 2.0. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel wide angle Front camera. It comes in 32GB/64/125GB/256GB GB in-built storage options, which can be further expanded upto 128GB.

Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,300 mAh battery which comes with Quick Charge. It comes with a fingerprint sensor under its home button.

Asus Zenfone AR runs on Android 7 Nougat. It comes with Tango and Google Daydream support.
