Blackberry is all set to launch its first Android smartphone, BlackBerry Priv in India. The smartphone will be launched in India on 28 January. It features a Quad HD screen and Hexa Core SoC.
Blackberry Priv is the first smartphone from the company to run on Android platform. It will be priced above Rs. 50,000 in India. It will available soon after launch. Its launch date in India is confirmed as 28 January.
BlackBerry Priv flaunts a 5.4 inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Quantum screen which has pixel density of 540ppi. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz Hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor with 3 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Adreno 418 GPU.
Priv comes with a 18 megapixel Laser Autofocus rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization and Dual tone LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 2 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 32 GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded upto 2TB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options includes 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,410 mAh battery which offers 23.9 hours of talktime and 17.6 days of standby time.
BlackBerry Priv runs on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop.
