Gionee has launched a new smartphone in its S series of smartphones called Gionee S9. The smartphone has been launched in its home country China. It comes with Dual Rear cameras and 4GB RAM.
Gionee S9 features a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels)2.5D curved glass Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 2GHz Octa core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Mali T-860 GPU.
Gionee S9 comes with a 13 Megapixel and 5 Megapixel dual rear cameras with dual tone LED Flash, PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 13 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB of on-board which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, WLAN, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. It has fingerprint scanner under home button which can be unlocked in 0.1 seconds.
Gionee S9 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a layer of Amigo 3.2 UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.

Gionee S9 price in China is 2499 Yuan. It comes in Black, Gold and Rose Gold color options. It will go on sale in China from 25 November. There is no word about global rollout yet.
