Gionee is all set to bring its latest flagship smartphone, Gionee Elife E8 in India. The Chinese company has started sending media invites for an launch event on 8 October. Interestingly the company plans to sell the smartphone in India via online only model, which will be first Online only smartphone from Gionee.
Gionee Elife E8 sports a 6 inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) AMOLED Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.0 GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 Processor with 3GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a PowerVR G6200 GPU.
Gionee E8 comes with a 23.7 Megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 128GB. It comes with a Fingerprint scanner on its back panel.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,520 mAh battery. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. Both SIM card slot supports 4G LTE SIM.
Gionee Elife E8 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3.1 UI. Its dimensions are 164.0×82.3×9.6 mm and weighs 207gms.
