Gionee has launched its flagship smartphone called Gionee Elife E8 in China. The phablet comes with a Quad HD screen and a 23.7 Megapixel camera which can capture images upto 120 MP. The smartphone has been leaked several times and it looks exactly same as the leaked images and video.
Gionee E8 comes with a fingerprint sensor on its back side. It features NXP Smart PA stereo speakers with DTS support. It runs on latest Amigo 3.1 UI which is a upgraded version of Amigo 3.0 UI which shipped with Gionee S7.
Gionee Elife E8 sports a 6 inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) AMOLED Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.0 GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 Processor with 3GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a PowerVR G6200 GPU.
It comes with a 23.7 Megapixel rear camera with dual tome LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 8 megapixel front camera. It comes with 64 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 128GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,520 mAh battery. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. Both SIM card slot supports 4G LTE SIM.
Gionee Elife E8 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3.1 UI. Its dimensions are 164.0×82.3×9.6 mm and weighs 207 gms.

Gionee Elife E8 is priced at 3999 Yuan (Rs. 41,200). It will go on sale in China from next month. It is expected to be launched in India in August.
