Gionee is all set to launch its first LTE smartphone in India. Gionee V6L LTE smartphone is now listed on Gionee India website. It was announced by the company in November for Rs. 15,000.
Gionee V6L was scheduled to go on sale in India from December last year but it never happened. Now it looks like Gionee will be launching the device in India soon. Along with Gionee V6L, Gionee had also launched Gionee P5L. But it is not listed on Gionee website, so it may be launched at a later date.
Gionee claims it as ‘Slimmest 4G device‘, as it is only 6.9 mm thick. Gionee V6L also comes with a combination of three types of display. It comes with IPS + OGS + LTPS display.
Gionee V6L sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS OGS LTPS Display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor with 1 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali 400 MP GPU.
It comes with a 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,000mAh battery which gives 13.9 hours of talktime and 264 hours of standby time on 4G network
Gionee V6L runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat.
