HTC has started importing a new unannounced device in India called HTC Desire 828. It is a successor to Desire 826 which was launched in India in April. The smartphone comes with same 5.5 inch 1080p screen, earlier it was also listed on China’s TENAA website.
HTC has imported 49 units of HTC Desire 828 D828w in India this week. Its import price in India is Rs. 12,782 ($193), but it will not be launched in India below Rs. 25,000. It might be launched in India in coming months.
HTC Desire 828 Dual Sim sports a 5.5 inch Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.5GHz Octa core Processor with 2GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno GPU.
Desire 828 comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with 4 ultrapixel front camera. It comes with 16GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,600mAh battery. It has HTC BoomSound speaker on the front side below display.
HTC Desire 828 d828w runs on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of HTC Sense UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
