Back in October, HTC has announced HTC Desire EYE in India, it was scheduled to go on sale on Amazon in November but it didn’t goes on sale. Last Month, we have reported that HTC has started importing HTC Desire EYE in India.
Now, according to Mumbai Based retailer, Mahesh Telecom, HTC Desire EYE is now available at several offline retail stores in India for Rs. 35,990.
HTC Desire Eye has a plastic body and features a Full HD Screen. The design gives the premium feel to the device. Apart from looks, it also boasts great set of specifications. It comes with HTC BoomSound speakers.
HTC desire Eye features a 5.2 inch Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) Display. It is powered by a 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 Processor with 2 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno 330 GPU. It comes with 16GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
HTC desire Eye comes with a 13 Megapixel f/2.0 rear camera with Dual LED flash. On the front side also, it sports a 13 megapixel selfie camera with Dual LED flash. It’s front camera comes with f/2.2 aperture with 20mm lens and is capable of capturing 1080p videos at 30fps.
HTC desire Eye connectivity options include LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,400mAh battery which can provide 22.4 hours of talk-time and 424 hours of standby time on 3G network. It is a dual device with dual standby support.
HTC desire Eye runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat with a layer of HTC Sense. HTC Desire Eye comes with a IPX7 rating which makes it water-resistant in one meter water.
