HTC yesterday launched its next flagship device HTC One M8. Along with HTC One M8, HTC also introduced two variants of One M8. HTC launched Developer Edition and Google Play Edition of HTC One M8.
HTC One M8 Google Play Edition(GPE) comes with pure Android experience. Consumer Version comes with various pre-insatlled apps and other customized features from HTC. HTC One M8 Consumer edition also comes with a layer of HTC Sense 6, but GPE will have stock Android experience. Users who likes Pure Android experience and want to use HTC One M8 can buy this device from Google Play Store starting today. However, GPE costs $50 more than normal version.
HTC One M8 Developer Edition is special edition of HTC One M8. In The Developer edition the bootloader will be unlocked. Unloacked bootloader means users can root the device easily and also install custom ROMs. Those people who like to customize their device can opt for Developer edition of HTC One M8. Developer Edition costs similar to normal version.
