HTC at an event in India, has launched HTC One M9+. The device is launched in India for Rs. 52,500. One M9 Plus was announced China earlier this month and now the Quad HD screen device is launched in India.
Earlier this month company had started sending out the press invites for the event. HTC was expected to launch its flagship device HTC One (M9) in India but surprisingly HTC releases One M9+ in India.
The M9 Plus variant comes with a 2K screen and duo camera setup, but it runs on MediaTek processor compared to Snapdragon processor found in HTC One M9.
HTC One M9+ flaunts a 5.2 inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.2 GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795T Processor with 3 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a PowerVR G6200 GPU.
HTC has brought back the duo camera setup on the M9 Plus. The smartphone features a 20.7 Megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. The secondary 2.1 Megapixel camera is for measuring the depth information. For selfies, It comes with 4 ultrapixel front camera.
It comes with 32GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card. Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, DLNA, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,840mAh battery.
HTC One M9 Plus runs on latest Android 5.0.1 Lollipop with a layer of HTC Sense 7.0 UI. For security, it comes with fingerprint sensor below the screen.
