Taiwanese smartphone giant, HTC recently launched its flagship phone, the HTC U Ultra in India with a whopping price tag of Rs. 59,990. That said, at the time of the launch, the company stated that the phone will go on sale in the first week of March and the phone finally goes on sale in India. To recall, the HTC U Ultra was first announced at the special event just after the CES 2017 Las Vegas.
The HTC U Ultra sets you back with a whopping price tag but comes with some incredible specifications under-the-hood. The phone has a primary 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 1440*2560 pixels and also has a 2-inch secondary display with a resolution of 2560×1040 pixel resolution, which is the same implementation on that of LG’s with the LG V20.

The HTC U Ultra comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, clubbed with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. HTC has added a special Artificial Intelligence engine, namely, the HTC Sense Companion.
The HTC U Ultra comes with 64GB of internal storage with further support for storage expansion via a microSD card slot. The U Ultra features a 12MP HTC Ultra Pixel 2 rear-facing camera and comes with the assistance for PDAF, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and dual tone LED flash. Up front, the phone comes with a 16MP front-facing camera for covering up selfies and video calls.
Connectivity-wise, there are a plethora of options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and GPS. This entire package is backed by a 3000mAh battery with support for QuickCharge 3.0 that also has support for fast charging. The phone measures 7.99mm and weighs 170 grams.
