Samsung has launched new range of smartphones under its Galaxy A series. The company has launched Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) in India. The smartphone is launched with a price tag of Rs. 28,990.
The smartphone comes with USB Type-C port. Samsung Galaxy A5(2017) comes with water and dust resistant body. It is powered by company’s own Exynos SoC.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) features a 5.2 inch Full HD (1920×1080) Super AMOLED display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a 1.9GHz Octa Core Exynos 7880 Processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with Mali T-830 GPU.
Galaxy A5 2017 comes with a 16 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and OIS. For selfies, it comes with a 16 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 32GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. It comes with fingerprint sensor under its home button.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) SM-A520F runs on Android 6 Marshmallow. It is dust and water resistant smartphone with IP68 rating.
