Huawei has launched a new flagship smartphone under its Honor sub-brand called Huawei Honor 8 Pro. The mobile phone has been announced in Europe and will be available from April 20.

Honor 8 ProThe smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM. Honor 8 Pro features bigger Quad HD screen. It comes with dual rear cameras and runs on Android 7 Nougat.

Huawei Honor 8 Pro sports a 5.7 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) 2.5D curved Glass Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.4GHz Octa Core HiSilicon Kirin 960 Processor with 6GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Octa Core Mali G71 GPU.

Honor 8 Pro comes with 12 Megapixel primary and 12 Megapixel secondary rear camera with dual-LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 64GB in-built storage options which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD card.

Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 4,000 mAh Battery. It comes with fingerprint scanner on its back side.

Huawei Honor 8 Pro runs on Android 7 Nougat with a layer of Emoticon EMUI 5.1 UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
