Lenovo has launched a new smartphone in S Series, dubbed as Lenovo S90. The smartphone is launched in India for Rs. 19,900 and is up for pre-order. The device can be pre-ordered from official Lenovo DoStore. It will ship from 10 February 2015.
Lenovo S90 comes with 4G LTE support. It is the second device from Lenovo which supports 4G LTE in India. Last month Lenovo had launched Lenovo A6000 LTE smartphone in India for Rs. 6,999.
In November, Lenovo had launched the device in China as “Lenovo Sisley S90”. Lenovo S90 design is very similar to Apple iPhone 6 which was launched last year. Lenovo has faced severe criticism over this but still Lenovo shamelessly choose to release it in other markets.
Lenovo S90 not only looks like Apple iPhone 6 but the way Lenovo is representing the device also matches the way Apple represents its devices.
Lenovo S90 sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad core 64 bit Snapdragon MSM8916 Processor with 2 GB of RAM.
Lenovo S90 comes with a 13 megapixel PureCel Sensor rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it features a 8 megapixel BSI Sensor front camera. It comes with 32 GB on-board storage which cannot be expanded.
Lenovo S90 connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,300 mAh battery which provides 18 hours of usage time and 21.5 days of standby time on 3G network. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
Lenovo S90 runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. It comes with many pre-loaded apps like SHAREit, SECUREit and SYNCit apps.
