Lava has launched a new budget Android Kitkat smartphone in Iris series, Lava Iris 400Q. It is launched in India for Rs. 5,499. The phone is not launched officially but it is listed online.
Lava Iris 400Q features a 4 inch WVGA TFT Display with 800×480 pixel resolution. It runs on 1.2 GHz Quad core Processor with 1 GB RAM. For graphics it has Videocore IV GPU.
Lava Iris 400Q comes with 5 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash. It comes with 0.3 megapixel front camera. It has 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32 GB using MicroSD Card.
Lava Iris 400Q has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It has 1,700 mAh battery which gives 9 hours of talk time and 153 hours of standby time.
Lava Iris 400Q runs on latest Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support.
