Lava has officially launched Lava Iris X8 in India for Rs. 8,999. Earlier, it was listed on Flipkart and now company has made the phone official. It comes with Octa Core SoC and 2GB RAM.
Lava Iris X8 sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) Asahi Glass IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa core MediaTek 6592M processor with 2 GB of RAM.
It features a 8 megapixel BSI 3 Sensor rear camera with Dual LED Flash and a 3 megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB of in-built storage which can be further expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,500 mAh battery which gives 9.5 hours of talktime and 291 hours of standby time on 3G network.
Lava Iris X8 runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box. It is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support.
