Lava Iris 504Q+

Lava had launched  Iris 504Q+ back in April in India for Rs. 13,999. At the launch time, the phone runs on Android Jelly Bean. Now, company has rolled out Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update for Lava Iris 504Q Plus. Lava had earlier launched its budget Android Kitkat smartphone Lava Iris X1 for Rs. 7,999.

Along with firmware upgrade lava has added a new dialer app. The new dialer app prioritize the contacts according to usage. Frequently used contacts will be shown on top. Lava has also added functionality to search unknown number details. Whenver any unknown caller will call, phone will search the details on businesses with a local listing on Google Maps.

The update can be installed by OTA and also can be installed through downloading the firmware files.

Lava Iris 504Q+ features a 5 inch HD IPS OGS Display with 720×1280 resolution. It runs on 1.3 GHz quad-core Processor with 1 GB of RAM. For Graphics, it has Mali 400 MP2 @500MHz GPU.

Lava Iris 504Q+ features an 10-megapixel Sony Exmor RS sensor rear camera which has sensor size of 1/3.2 inch and 5P lens module, and 1.4 micron pixel size. It also has 2 MP front camera. It comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded upto 32 GB.

Lava Iris 504Q+ has connectivity options like GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB. It’s battery capacity is of 2,000mAh which can give 732 hours of standby time.

Lava Iris 504Q+ runs on older Android kitkat 4.4.2. It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby.

Lava Iris 504Q+ can be updated to Android Kitkat through Over The Air update. If you didn’t get the notification for update then you can manually check for update by visiting Settings > About Phone > System Updates.
