Lenovo has launched yet another budget smartphone in India called as Lenovo A5000. The smartphone with mammoth 4,000mAh battery is launched in India for Rs. 9,999.
Lenovo A5000 is the fourth smartphone in its A series of smartphone launched in India this year from Lenovo. Earlier the company had launched Lenovo A6000, A6000 Plus and Lenovo A7000.
Similar to A6000, Lenovo A5000 also sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display at 300ppi. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 Processor with 1GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Mali T760-MP2 GPU.
It comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also has a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
The smartphone misses the 4G LTE connectivity, Its connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 4,000 mAh Battery which offers 17 hours of talktime and 33 days of standby time on 3G network.
Lenovo A5000 runs on Android 4.4 with a layer of Vibe 2.0 UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.

Lenovo A5000 price in India Rs. 9,999. It comes in black and white colors. Apart from bigger battery, the smartphone doesn’t offer anything special. If battery life isn’t important to you then, Lenovo A7000 priced at Rs. 8,999 is much a better option.
