Lenovo has launched a new affordable LTE smartphone, Lenovo A7000, in India. The Lenovo A7000 is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will go on sale from 15 April on Flipkart.
The device was unveiled last month during MWC. Later Lenovo had started sending out the invites for the launch event. Like other Lenovo devices, Lenovo A7000 will also be exclusive to Flipkart. The device will go on sale via flash sale method.
It is the second budget smartphone from Lenovo in its A series of smartphones. Back in January, company had launched Lenovo A600 for Rs. 6,999. And since then, company has managed to sell 300,000 units in India.
Lenovo A7000 sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa core MediaTek MT6752m Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Mali-T760 GPU.
It comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also has a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card. It comes with Dolby Atmos which gives better sound output.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,900 mAh Battery. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
Lenovo A7000 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Vibe UI.
