Lenovo is gearing up to launch another budget smartphone, Lenovo A7000, in India. Lenovo has started sending out media invites for the launch event in India on 7 April.
Lenovo doesn’t mentions that the the Lenovo A7000 will be unveiled at the launch event, but there’s a hint on the invite which confirms that the A7000 will be launched in India on 7 April. The invite comes with ‘Dolby Atmos’ written on it, and Lenovo A7000 comes with Dolby Atmos.
The device was announced during MWC this month and now company is bringing up the device in Indian markets. Earlier Lenovo had also launched Lenovo A6000 in India, which was company’s first budget LTE smartphone.
Lenovo A7000 sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa core MediaTek MT6752m Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Mali-T760 GPU.
It comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also has a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,900 mAh Battery. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
Lenovo A7000 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Vibe UI.
