Lenovo has launched a new smartphone in S series dubbed as Lenovo S580. It is launched in India at Rs. 8,999 and will be sold exclusively on Snapdeal. It is a dual sim device and features a 5 inch screen.

Lenovo S580 sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 200 Processor with 1 GB of RAM.
Lenovo S580 comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also features a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 on-board storage which can be further expanded upto 32 GB using MicroSD Card.
Lenovo S580 connectivity options include 2G, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,150 mAh battery which provides 14 hours of usage time and 18.5 days of standby time on 3G network. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
Lenovo S580 runs on older Android 4.3 Jelly bean but it is upgradable Android 4.4 Kitkat. It comes with many pre-loaded apps like SHAREit, SECUREit and SYNCit apps.
