Xolo has launched a new Omega series of smartphones in India. Xolo has launched two smartphone under Omega series called Omega 5.0 and Omega 5.5. Xolo Omega 5.0 is launched in India at Rs. 8,999 and Xolo Omega 5.5 is launched at Rs. 9,999.
Xolo Omega series of smartphones runs on Custom HIVE UI which is based on Android 4.4 Kitkat. Xolo Play 8X-1000 was the first device which was launched with HIVE UI.
Xolo Omega 5.0 Specifications:
Xolo Omega 5.0 sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS OGS Display at 294ppi. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa core MediaTek MTK6592M Processor with 1 GB of RAM. For graphics it has Mali 450 MP4 GPU cloaked at 600 MHz.
Xolo Omega 5.0 features a 8 megapixel Sony Exmor RS Sensor rear camera with LED flash. It also features a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB on-board storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Xolo Omega 5.0 connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, WLAN, GPS/AGPS, Micro USB, and Bluetooth. It packs a 2,100 mAh Battery which gives 7.7 hours of talktime and 656 hours of standby time on 3G network.
Xolo Omega 5.0 runs on Xolo’s custom HIVE UI which is based on Android Kitkat 4.4.
