Lenovo has started pushing Android 6 Marshmallow update for its Lenovo Vibe X3 smartphone. Several users in India are reporting about that they are getting the update.
As you can see in the image above, the Android 6 Marshmallow update is being rolling out to Lenovo Vibe X3. The update is available via OTA update.
The Marshmallow update is a big update and it is about 1711MB in size. We recommend you to downloaded the update over Wi-Fi only. The update will be rolled in phases.
If you haven’t received the Android 6 Marshmallow update on your Lenovo Vibe X3 then you can manually check for updates. You can head over to Settings > About > Check for update. It might take time to reach the update to your device.
Lenovo has not provided any change log for the update. But the update notification does mentions that any fingerprint stored on the device will be removed.
Android 6 Marshmallow update for Lenovo Vibe X3 brings many new features like Doze Mode, Do Not disturb, App permissions, Now on tap and others.
