LG has launched the LG G PRO 2 today, LG has earlier sent out the invitation for the launch event. LG in the event has launched the successor of LG G Pro. LG has launched new features like Knock On, Content Lock and a new feature called Knock Code, which allow users to unlock a phone by tapping the phone in a specified manner.
LG G Pro 2 features a 5.9-inch 1080p display with a slim bezel. It features powerful 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core Processor. RAM is upgraded to 3 GB. It includes a Adreno 330 GPU. In terms of storage, the device features 16/32GB of internal storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card.
The device features 13 megapixel rear camera with OIS. The camera is able to take 4K video with stabilization feature. It is also able to take 120fps slow motion HD videos. Front camera is of 2.1 megapixel. Other connectivity option include wifi, 3G , LTE and Bluetooth. It features 3,200mAH Battery. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat.
Feature wise the device looks good. The price and availability of device is unknown. Samsung on the other hand is launching its next flagship Galaxy S5 on 24 Feb.
