Micromax is all set to launch a new lite variant of its last year’s flagship smartphone called Micromax Canvas 5 Lite Special Edition Q463. It is listed on company website without price tag. It will be available in India for Rs. 8,499.
The smartphone will be available in Wooden back colour options. Micromax Canvas 5 Lite Special Edition Q463 will come in Maple and Walnut wooden finish options. It comes with 3GB RAM.
Micromax Canvas 5 Lite Special Edition sports a 5 inch HD(1280 x 720 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6735P Processor with 3GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Mali T-720 GPU.
Canvas 5 Lite Special Edition comes with a 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 32GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 64GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It comes with fingerprint sensor under its home button. It packs a 2,000 mAh Battery which offers 4.5 hours of talktime and 150 hours of standby time on 3G network.
Micromax Canvas 5 Lite Special Edition runs on Android 5 Lollipop. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
