Micromax has launched Canvas Doodle 3 officially in India. Micromax has been teasing the device since couple of days and specs of device was already leaked. And today Micromax has made the device official.
Micromax has launched the Canvas Doodle 3 in India for Rs. 8,500, the device will be go on sale from 25th April. The device has average specs but with bigger screen.
Micromax canvas Doodle 3 features a 6 inch FWVGA Display with 480×854 pixel resolution. It runs on 1.3 GHz dual core MediaTek MT6572 Processor with 512MB RAM. The Phablet comes with 5 megapixel Auto Focus rear camera with flash and a VGA front camera. It has 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32 GB.
Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and Micro-USB. It has 2,500 mAh battery which gives 9 hours of talk time.
Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 runs on older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, which cannot be upgraded to Android kitkat. It is a dual sim device.
Micromax canvas Doodle 3 has HD playback and video recording capabilities. It comes with many pre-loaded apps like M!Doodle which allows doodle chat, M!Live to download unlimited content, Kingsoft Office suite to create and edit documents, Opera Mini browser and Get it! which allows to search for restaurants, theaters, ATMs etc.

Micromax canvas doodle 3 has been listed on company site. Micromax wants to provide big screen phone in the lower level market segment. Though specs are very average with not so great display. The phone is good for those who wants bigger screen phone and are short of budget.
