Last week, Micromax Canvas Engage A091 was spotted on online shopping website. Now the phone has been officially launched in India. Though the price is not listed but it is expected to be priced around Rs. 6,200. The good thing about Engage is that it runs on Android Kitkat.
Earlier, Micromax had launched Unite 2 for Rs. 6,999 which also on latest Android Kitkat. And Now Micromax has launched yet another budget smartphone running on Android Kitkat.
Micromax Canvas Engage features a 4 inch WVGA Display with 800×480 pixel resolution. It runs on 1.2 GHz Quad core BCM23550 Processor with 512 MB RAM. It has 4GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Micromax Canvas Engage comes with 5 megapixel rear camera. It also has 0.3 megapixel front camera. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support.
Canvas Engage has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It has 1,500 mAh battery which gives 5 hours of talktime and 200 hours of standby time.
Micromax Canvas Engage runs on latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box. Micromax Canvas Engage comes pre-loaded with apps like Getit – the best Android yellow pages app, M! LIVE – for fun on-the-go, Opera- so that you surf web smarter and M! Games- for a thrilling Live gaming experience.
