Spice had launched a new smartphone in Stellar series, Stellar Mi-509. The phone is launched for Rs. 7,999. The phone runs on older version of Android.
Spice Stellar Mi-509 features a 5 inch FWVGA Display with 854×480 pixel resolution. It runs on 1.3 GHz Quad core Processor with 1 GB RAM. It has 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Spice Stellar Mi-509 comes with 8 megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED Flash. It also has 2 megapixel front camera. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support.
Spice Stellar Mi-509 has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It has 2,000 mAh battery which gives 170 hours of standby time.
Spice Stellar Mi-509 runs on older Android 4.2 jelly bean out of the box.

The Spice Stellar Mi-509 is launched for Rs. 7,999. It will be available on online retailer HomeShop18. It is a good phone in the sub 10,000 segment. But this phone lacks Android Kitkat which is now common in budget level smartphone.
